What happens when you sit down on your back stoop to drink your morning coffee and find a disabled space ship sitting in you back yard?  Of course, you declare "Finders-Keepers." The Finding wasn't hard, but the Keeping proves to be the problem. The US government wants to hide the mere existence of aliens. The military covets the technology, as does every other government and industrial entity in the world.  The religionists must prove  it is all a great hoax.
